Today’s Affirmation: In the midst of all things I find mirth in the small things.

 

Today’s Spiritual Contemplation: I have a capacity to choose to experience happiness, harmony and laughter.  This is the greatest difference between a human and every other life form right down to the smallest bacteria.  Yet if I do not actively make that choice I am abdicating my right to be any more than that simplest common virus.  Every moment I choose and I re-choose the thoughts that will enhance the joy of my world.

Today’s Affirmation: I give my heart to the joy of life and offer my voice in innocent mirth.

 

Today’s Spiritual Contemplation: What’s a day without humour; not the kind that laughs at another, rather the kind that laughs at self.  It is in the juxtaposed simultaneous beliefs in my human littleness and my human greatness that I find continual humour.  In truth all that I am is of the Infinite and only in this do I find any measure of greatness.
